Onion Creek is a beautiful drive through a deep-cut canyon filled with contrasting rock formations. You’ll cross Onion Creek 27 times as you wander through the canyon. Typical water level is low, but flash flooding can be a concern. At the end you’ll have the option to continue on the Thompson Canyon/Polar Mesa trail (easy) or Rose Garden Hill (difficult). You can also take the 2.2 mile hike to Fisher Towers and then return out Onion Creek.
