Each driver will need to read and sign the below Event Waiver upon registration of trail runs. Participation in the event is not allowed if the waiver is unsigned.
The Event officially begins and ends each day at the location(s) designated by Offroad Treks LLC. The Event does not include carpooling, transportation, or transit to and from the Event, and you are personally responsible for all risks associated with any travel to and from the Event.
Motorized off-road driving/riding is an inherently dangerous activity that can lead to serious injuries including but not limited to slip and fall injuries, fractures, rattlesnake bites, heat exhaustion, poisonous plants, etc. Always remember to let the event organizer know if you are straying from the group. Stay on the trail, never drive/ride alone, and use your own common sense.
In the event of significant weather, Offroad Treks LLC will determine what risks, if any, are inherent in running the planned trail. If there is any risk of flash flooding or chance of significant damage to the trail from use during the weather event, Offroad Treks LLC reserves the right to cancel trails to ensure group safety and preserve the trails. No refunds or exchanges will occur if a trail is cancelled and no substitute provided.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in good health and your vehicle is in good running order before participating in a high-intensity activity like this one. All drivers must be of legal driving age and be in possession of a valid driver’s license and insurance. You’re advised to carry a full-size spare tire, a puncture repair kit, a jack, basic recovery gear, as well as basic tools. A GMRS/FRS radio is also required. We also recommend a first aid kit, extra supplies of any medications you may need, minimum of 1 gallon of water per person, and extra food.
Acknowledgment and assumption of risk: All activities are at user risk. I recognize that there is an element of risk in any adventure, sport, or activity associated with the outdoors. I have read and accepted the possible risks and dangers. I assume full responsibility for myself and/or members of my family and my passengers in any case of loss or damage to my personal property, equipment, injury, illness, trauma or death, including all expenses or other loss thereof, as a result of my negligence or the negligence of my family or my passengers participating in said activities.
I certify that my family, my passengers, and I, including minor children, are fully capable of participating in the activity of driving off-highway. I further understand that Offroad Treks LLC reserves the right to deny participation of the Event to any person it judges incapable of meeting the rigors and requirements of participating in the sport of four-wheel-driving and associated activities.
